FOR DESIGN TEAM FACILITATORS

Facilitator's Resources

While the Healthy Workplace Participatory Program has been amended for correction workers, many resources including training materials, fillable meeting documents and videos referenced below and on this website, are from the Center for the Promotion of Health in the New England Workplace (CPH-NEW). HITEC's origins comes from the UConn/UMass partnership that formed the center.

To start your journey, we strongly suggest downloading the full Facilitator Manual. The manual can serve as a reference at all steps in the process. It is important to keep this resource on hand to help before each meeting with:

  • Facilitator Preparation

  • Facilitator Agenda

  • Design Team Agenda, if different than the Facilitator Agenda

  • Worksheets needed for each meeting

Second, we suggest downloading the Worksheets and our example of completed Worksheets using the IAQ Intervention as an example.

Also, meeting agendas keep the team on course. For an example and Word template, download the two files.

For a deeper understanding of the Healthy Workplace Participatory Program, see all the Facilitator training videos and manuals from CPH-NEW.

Review the HWPP Toolkit found on the CPH-NEW website.

As a precursor to CT DOC HITEC training, review this page and the facilitation skills video training series.
